PhD Talk

This lecture will inform you about doing a PhD trajectory and the prerequisites for following this path.

Christina Bode is a psychologist and works as an associate professor at the department of Psychology, Health and Technology at the University of Twente. Her research and teaching is dedicated to the question under which conditions people with chronic illnesses can live a vital and meaningful life and how this aim can be empowered and facilitated with technological innovative measuring and monitoring of patient-reported outcomes and by self-management interventions.

In the PhD-workshop, you will receive answers to the following questions:

  • What is a PhD trajectory exactly?
  • What does the product of a PhD-track look like?
  • Who else is involved in the track and with what interests?
  • What opportunities does a PhD-track give in the future?
  • What to do, to become a PhD-student?

Besides this, PhD candidate Charlotte van Lotringen will share experiences from her PhD-track.
