My name is Elske Roeleveld, and I am a researcher at Tactus Verslavingszorg for the department Development & Advice and currently my focus is on E-health. My work is very diverse and I encounter a lot about the world of research; very interesting. The combination between research and addiction care is very interesting! I will tell you all about it during my lecture, and furthermore I will talk about my search for a job.

Hester Steege, Joleen de Jong - Clinical (Positive Psychology & Technology) workfield

In this lecture we would like to share our knowledge and experiences (from our contacts with students and institutions) regarding the clinical (Positive Psychology & Technology) workfield. During this lecture we will inform you on practical and theoretical issues for continuation to a postmaster. Also, we will discuss the learning goals of the clinical internship and the core qualities of a psychologist. We will conclude with opportunities and limitations (and tips to overcome them) in the clinical workfield and will specify this explicitly for the Netherlands and Germany.

Imke Silderhuis - Human Factors & Engineering Psychology

UL-Wiklund

After her study at the University of Twente, Imke started working at UL-Wiklund: a Human Factors Engineering (HFE) consulting team that helps clients develop safe, usable, and satisfying products, as well as analyze complex human interactions.

Many of UL-Wiklund’s clients produce consumer products, but UL-Wiklund is specialized in usability and use-safety evaluation of medical devices. The services UL-Wiklund frequently provides to its clients include user research (e.g., user observations, user interviews), design support (e.g., user interface design, user interface prototyping, infographics), HFE evaluation (e.g., usability testing, heuristic analysis, design critique), and HFE support (e.g., HFE program planning, training).

During her talk, Imke will tell about the work she does at UL-Wiklund.
