Psychologist for a Day - Clinical Psychologist
Ever wondered what a regular Day of a Clinical Psychologist looks like?
How do you diagnose and what other tasks are part of the field of work?
Let Anne Wauben tell you what her working days look like and let her answer any of your questions during a lunch lecture.
Anne Wauben works for the Psychodiagnostiek en Advies Centrum Twente (PACT). PACT conducts psychodiagnostic examinations for the various departments of Mediant and for external parties including general practitioners and other 1st line health care institutions, 2nd and 3rd line health care institutions, municipalities, health insurers and UWV.
A selection from the studies they conduct includes:
• IQ Tests
• Personality disorders
• Psychiatric disorders (e.g. psychotic disorders, bipolar etc)
• Developmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, autism)
• Neuropsychological examination
• Combinations of these studies (differential diagnostics)
As a psychologist, Anne Wauben conducts the anamnesis, psychodiagnostic examinations and shares the outcomes with the client. She works with adult clients between the age of 18 and 65 years.
Make sure you subscribe now to get some lunch at 12:30, but feel free to come by for the lecture at 12:45 anyway.
